Cole Cottage is a traditional Portuguese Farm House built sometime back in the last century. It used to house a bakery with its own milling wheel powered by a donkey. This is now where the Barbeque stands. Adjacent to this is the swimming pool. To make room for this, an area had to be blasted out of the mountainous rock on which it stands. You can see some of the large boulders weighing around 4 tons each, standing beside the pool area.

The Cottage is situated part of the way up a small valley where you can see orange groves, with the Moreno Hills a short distance away to the North.
The grounds cover an area of one acre, and incorporates many of the traditional trees, plants and shrubs of the area, including many Carob trees that are harvested by the locals once a year. These Carob seed pods are used for diabetic chocolate, medical use and animal feed. They were once used as sweets for children in years past.
The POOL is 5 metres wide and 10 metres long. It has been designed to be comfortable and people friendly.
The Pool is surrounded by extensive patio area which includes loungers and parasols. At a higher level is where the Barbecue area is situated. The barbecue is large enough to suit all needs from two people to a large party.

The Cottages are Located in the middle of the orange growing area, with groves to the side and front of the property.
Just a short distance away is situated the local village of Sto. Estevão where one can find two mini supermarkets, one café and bar with Post Office, an excellent restaurant, ATM Cash Machine, pharmacy, barber, small clothes shop and of course the local church.
